TNJUG is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, welcoming, and safe learning environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or technical experience level.
Our Standards
- Be Respectful & Constructive: Disagreements happen, but personal attacks or dismissive attitudes towards beginners are strictly prohibited.
- Share Knowledge Generously: Welcome questions from learners and junior colleagues.
- Respect Commercial Boundaries: TNJUG is a technical, educational forum. Direct vendor pitches, unsolicited recruitment spam, or product marketing without educational substance are not allowed during meetups.

Call for Proposals (CFP) — Speak at TNJUG
We welcome proposals for:
- Full Deep Dives (40-50 mins): In-depth architecture case studies, JVM internals, or framework deep dives with live code demonstrations.
- Lightning Talks (10-15 mins): Quick project showcases, cool Java 21+ features, developer productivity tips, or open source tool introductions.
- Hands-on Masterclasses (90-120 mins): Interactive lab sessions run across chapter computer labs.

How to Start or Host a Chapter
Are you interested in launching a TNJUG chapter at your university, or hosting an upcoming meetup at your company campus?
Minimum Requirements for Campus Chapters:
- One designated Faculty Advisor (Department Head or Senior Faculty).
- At least two active Student Chapter Leads.
- Dedicated lab space or seminar hall with projector and internet connectivity.
- Commitment to host at least two technical meetups or hands-on labs per academic semester.
