Overview
TNEBooks is an open-source educational platform developed by the Open Source Lab team in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Java User Group (TNJUG). The initiative makes quality curriculum content, textbooks, and interactive learning materials accessible to students and teachers across rural and urban schools in Tamil Nadu.

Field Validation & School Outreach
- 100 Schools Expansion: Following a direct presentation to Thiru. M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, I.A.S., District Collector of Ramanathapuram, permission was granted to deploy and test TNEBooks across 50 government schools and 50 aided schools.
- Kalvi Thiruvizha & School Feedback: Tested with students and educators at Government Model School, Thinaikulam Government School, and Kongu Matric Higher Secondary School (Uthukuli).
- Executive Demonstrations: Presented to Thiru. S. Kandasamy, IAS, District Collector of Erode at HackFusion 2026, and showcased to Samir Kamerkar, Engineering Director at Canonical, during TOSS Conference 2026.
